Dalmatia Cruise – to Dubrovnik and back

An exciting offshore cruise along the dalmatian coast, from Primosten to Dubrovnik and back. Two great passages, most likely with very different wind and weather conditions down and up the Adriatic sea. Experience the thrill of night sailing, enjoy a starry sky like you can’t see from the cities, learn how to plan a long passage, including provisioning, watches, and more.

Coastal Skipper

The trip lends itself perfectly to gaining the RYA Coastal Skipper certificate. You will be preparing more than one plan for the long passages, including night sailing, share them with the rest of the crew, define the execution and monitoring elements and lead the crew for some exciting sailing along the dalmatian coast. 
Please note that it is highly recommended to have theory knowledge at the level of the Yachtmaster shorebased course.

Dalmatia cruise / Coastal Skipper – Program

We will meet at the marina on Saturday afternoon, review the weather forecast, and go to the shop for provisioning. The Coastal skipper candidates will then prepare the first passage plan in detail, discuss the watch system, etc. Departure will be on the Sunday morning, maybe including an offshore stop at the Palagruza islands (depending upon wind and weather), and then off towards Dubrovnik. Make a stop for the night, visit the beautiful city and its ancient walls, enjoy some local delicacies, then plan the departure back towards Primosten. On the way back, we will take a less direct route, stopping at Lastovo, Vis or wherever we feel like….

Offshore Cruise / Coastal Skipper course - what’s included and what is not:

Included: 

- accommodation in a shared double cabin onboard a modern yacht
- Bed linens & towels and final boat cleaning
- Marina fees at home port
- Free Wi-Fi onboard!
- For Coastal Skipper candidates: Tuition from an RYA qualified instructor and final certificate (if successful)

Extras:

- Food and drinks (also for the instructor)
- Marina / anchorage fees outside of home port
- Diesel and Croatian tourist tax (approx 20 Euro p/p)
- Parking in the Marina (approx 50 Euro/week)
- Travel to/from Primosten

Location & time

Location: Marina Kremik (Primosten)

Start: Saturday after 17:00

End: Friday at 15:00

We will arrive back at the marina on the Friday around 3pm, so there is the possibility to leave already on the Friday evening, or to stay onboard until the saturday at 9.00
