Offshore cruise – to Italy and back
An exciting offshore cruise from Croatia to Southern Italy and back. Two great passages, most likely with very different wind and weather conditions down and up the Adriatic sea. Experience the thrill of night sailing, enjoy a starry sky like you can’t see from the cities, learn how to plan a long passage, including provisioning, watches, and more.
With a maximum of 6 people per yacht plus the skipper/instructor, there will be plenty of time for you to steer, join in all the activities and rest in a fun and learn-rich atmosphere
Offshore cruise to Italy and back – Program
We will meet at the marina on Saturday afternoon, review the weather forecast, and go to the shop for provisioning. We will then review the plan in more detail, discuss the watch system, etc. Departure on the Sunday morning direction Vis to clear the customs formalities, then head towards Brindisi. Depending on the weather, we may stop at the Palagruza islands, uninhabited and isolated rocks right in the middle of the Adriatic sea. Arrive in Brindisi on Monday or Tuesday, take a tour of the city and enjoy local delicacies, and plan the departure back for Tuesday. On our way back to Primosten we will take a less direct route, and depending upon the weather conditions we will pass by Lastovo, Korkula, Hvar. Please note that the program may be varied substantially (i.e. going to Dubrovnik or Pula instead of Brindisi) due to weather and or covid related travel restrictions!
