A partially offshore cruise, starting from Marina Punat, on the island of KRK, for a total of approximately 400 nautical miles (Rhumb line)

A beautiful trip, with a number of night sailing hours and stops among the beautiful croatian islands.

You will be sailing onboard a Dufour 44 with full battened mainsail, a comfortable yacht, with 3 cabins and 2 WC, and led by a professional skipper.

With a maximum of 5 people per yacht plus the skipper, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to join in all the activities, take part in the maneuvers, and learn a lot. The skipper is a certified RYA Cruising instructor, and he will be happy to teach or explain any maneuver.

Cruise to Palagruza – Program

You will meet at the Marina Punat on Saturday in the early afternoon, get settled onboard, do some provisioning and discuss with the skipper the program of the week.

After getting familiar with the yacht, and perform a few important safety maneuvers, you will leave the marina and sail along the coast of Croatia with stops at the various islands along the way, or a straight sail to the Palagruza islands, depending upon wind or weather conditions. Once arrived at Palagruza, depending upon the weather conditions, you may be able to anchor and visit the island, which is not inhabited, and only has one big lighthouse.

Please note the program may change considerably due to weather conditions. The ultimate decision with regard to the final itinerary rest solely with the skipper. Please also note that the initiative is organised and run by Skipa and not by White Wake Sailing, nor it is an RYA sanctioned activity.

For the purpose of the certification of the mileage, an official certification will be issued at the end of the trip, in line with the requirements of the swiss, german and austrian sailing organisations.
